“Transylvania in Edinburgh” Relived

Just wanted to let everyone know that another travel story regarding a trip a couple of years ago to Scotland has just been added. Check it out at “Transylvania in Edinburgh” . This one brought back some fun memories of a couple of days that were spent in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The first night was spent pub crawling and exploring the city. The second day we went to several of the city sites including Edinburgh Castle which sits atop a hill and overlooks the city. We also checked out a medical museum, which showcased medical instruments and body parts, from the past 200 years or so, which was quite eye-opening. We saw a min-movie about the Loch Ness monster and attended a Scottish dinner festival where we were piped in by a Scottish bagpiper and ate hagus. Though it was wheeled out with antlers and looked like a gray, waxy blob, it tasted like spicy sausage. Really not too bad! Anyway it was a fascinating and fun city to visit, and I wouldn’t mind visiting again.
