“Live your life so your epitaph can read… NO REGRETS!!!”
I’ve always believed for probably the last 20+ years that I was destined to be something different. Someone who made something more of himself, than what everyone else thinks I should be.
I’ve tried to see and do a wide range of things. I’ve been making bucket lists long before it became popular to have a bucket list! I’ve been writing my goals down since I was 16 years old!
I’ve flown solo in an airplane and jumped out from 15,000 feet. I’ve gone diving with sharks and snorkeled through caverns in Mexico. I’ve been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado. Went para-sailing in Key West and zip-lining through Jamaican rain forests. I’ve been a firefighter battling 50 foot high walls of flame! Been from New York City to Los Angeles and dozens of places in between. But there are still so many adventures left to do!!!
I was married to a girl who I’ve been with off and on for over 12 years. But life sometimes throws us curve balls, and last year things came to an end. I’ve asked myself dozens of times, what I did wrong, what I could have done different. But looking at it now I’ve realized that we just weren’t meant to be together. So I wish her the best and am ready to move on with my life.
I’m a firm believer in family and close friends. I think family and friends are the bedrock which life is built upon and what this whole joyride is all about. You can have all the money in the world, visit 50 countries all over the world, live adventures that ordinary people can only dream of. But without those in our life who support us, who love us and are there when we’re trying to find a purpose in life, it’s all for nothing! So love unconditionally and all out! Tell those who are important to you how much they mean. Call distant friends and reach out to them or reconnect with those whom you’ve burned bridges with. Because in the end, those relationships will be what you’ll treasure most when the ride is over!!!
